I think one helpful piece of advice, from my perspective, is to think about building your Non-Executive CV. It's really different from your Executive CV, and starting to write it, even if you think you haven't got anything there, can really help you frame your story and your pitch. It also helps you identify the gaps you might want to address in a very intentional way.
