Hi, my name is Helen Normoyle, I'm the Co-Founder of My Menopause Centre and I'm a Non Executive Director at Allied Irish Banks and Travelodge.
One of the best pieces of advice that I received in my career was that it's a marathon, not a sprint. If you are maybe in your 20s, think about the fact that you might have 50-60 years of work life ahead of you.
I think when you take that perspective it gives you the space to breathe and then really think about what would you like to do for this decade. I'm a big believer in optionality, so what are the options that I want to start creating for my myself now that will enable me to be able to choose from a range of different things.
Helen is an accomplished senior marketing leader, moving from Director of Marketing at Motorola through to CMO at Boots in 25 years. Now, she is a Non Executive Director at Allied Irish Banks and the Co-Founder of My Menopause Centre.
