We are involved in an ongoing partnership with Beam, a crowdfunding platform to support homeless people across the country as they look for stable work.
It is such a fulfilling feeling to all of us at 3Search knowing that we are able to make a difference within the homeless community. We donate to Beam every time one of our wonderful consultants makes a placement.

Our Impact
Throughout the month of October, we managed to raise a total of £1,400!
We are extremely grateful for the great work by our team and the clients we work with who make this possible each month.
Ahmed, Alicia and Destiny are just three people who directly benefited from our donations last month. It is extremely rewarding to know that our work helps to puts these individuals into a better position for the future, whether this be financially, mentally, or both.
Ahmed’s Story
Ahmed experienced a difficult living situation with his friend, which eventually resulted in him moving out suddenly and, unfortunately, he become homeless. He had owned a variety of tools and appliances needed for his construction business, but unfortunately lost all of these during the constant process of moving around. The harsh reality for Ahmed was that he would need to start all over again.
In order to get back onto his feet, Ahmed is looking to get back into construction, as he has a great level of knowledge, skill and experience in the industry. Over the years, he has developed all the skills necessary to find work quickly, however what is holding him back right now is his expired CSCS and CPCS card.
The dream for Ahmed would be to have his own place where he can feel secure and be at a point where he can start saving again to invest into his business. He is a huge animal person and would also love to have pets to keep him company, as well as get back to the gym, and ultimately build on a happy future.
Alicia’s Story
Alicia was faced with the challenge of becoming a single mother and caring for her two young children, following the breakdown of her relationship. This left her no choice but to stop working and focus on looking after her children to give them the full-time care they needed.
Now that her children are old enough for Alicia to return to employment part-time, she would love to pursue either hairdressing or administration roles, as she has previous experience in both of these professions and enjoys communicating with people.
What is currently in her way is the lack of resources to job hunt, which is why Beam’s work will allow Alicia to achieve her career goals, alongside being able to raise her family with the support she needs.
Destiny’s Story
Throughout the years, Destiny often found herself moving from job to job. Now, however, she really wants to start a career in dental nursing. Not only has it been a passion of hers for years, but a career path which will offer her the stability she needs in her life at the moment.
Destiny’s daughter is the forefront of her future, hoping that she will grow up to have a much better childhood than her mother did. Destiny’s goal is to inspire her daughter to chase her dreams no matter what, so that she has the confidence to work towards her own.
Currently living in temporary accommodation hasn't made this easy. Despite making friends and support networks along the way, Destiny hopes that this isn't the permeant solution. With the support from Beam, Destiny will be able to kickstart her career goals, move into better living conditions and continue to take care of her daughter.
