Guestline were looking to work with a digital recruitment agency who would be able to support them with hiring for product and marketing jobs across a number of teams. Searching for a newly created Senior Product Manager job
Having created a new division of their business, Guestline were searching for a product expert to fill their newly created Senior Product Manager job. The role had high specifications. They were searching for someone with a strong technical and commercial mindset and a background in the travel industry.
As the business was undertaking a transformation in the product sector, it was important that the candidate had strong product knowledge. They needed to be able to assess where the product team currently were, where they needed to be and devise a plan for how they would get there.
Specialist product recruiter, Francesca Jackson, was able to work closely with the company to secure the right talent for the role. Not only is Francesca well-networked within the product management sector, but she also comes from a travel background herself. This means that she had a strong understanding of Guestline's product, helping her to sell the role to potential candidates.
Locating top talent in Germany
This Senior Product Manager role could have been located in Germany or the UK, so Francesca took the opportunity to broaden the search to both locations. She mapped the UK and German markets, before presenting a strong short list of product talent to the hiring manager.
From there, Francesca maintained strong communication with the preferred candidate and the business, facilitating their in-person meetings when the candidate arrived in London.
