Following a successful round of crowdfunding, the business was seeking to appoint an experienced Non-Executive Director to provide strategic direction and guidance to their marketing and growth team.
Building long-lasting partnerships with employers
ekko's CEO & Co-Founder, Oli Cook, reached out to 3Search Executive Search Partner, Rowan Fisk, for support on this crucial hire.

Leveraging our network to find the right candidate
Oli was looking to engage a B2C focused Chief Marketing Officer who would be able to work with ekko in an advisory capacity. As a result, it was crucial that the right candidate had experience in working with start-ups and/or fast-growing businesses, ideally from a technology-led business, like ekko.
Leveraging his extensive senior network, Rowan was able to quickly introduce Oli to candidates from a range of businesses, including Netflix, Three, Amazon, American Express and Habito. But ultimately, ekko appointed the CCO of Away Resorts to support their growth as a Non-Executive Director.
