Our specialist travel and leisure recruiters started worked with Warner Leisure Hotels, leading adults-only hospitality company, at the end of 2024. The brand needed to add two new roles to the team to facilitate their planned digital expansion.
The hiring team needed to secure these hires ahead of the Christmas break, so it was important to move quickly through the recruitment process. To do this, they engaged our team of specialist recruiters.
Warner Leisure Hotels is a hospitality company comprised of 16 hotels across the UK. They specialise in offering all-inclusive adult-only breaks, including dining, entertainment and activities.
To continue reaching their target audience, it was time to expand their digital presence. They identified two roles – an SEO Manager and a Head of Digital Design – to grow the team. As these were newly created roles within the organisation, they needed the support of our expert recruiters to guide them through the hiring process.
Both job titles were brand new to Warner Leisure Hotels. This can be a challenge for hiring managers as it means they lack the expertise required to hire confidently. For example, they had never had someone to focus on search engine optimisation (SEO) before. As a result, they didn’t have anybody internally to guide them through job description writing or to advise on what a good candidate looked like.
The hiring team worked with our recruiters to support the job description development. As the first hire, the SEO Manager needed to have a niche combination of technical and and content SEO skills. This, and the fact that both jobs were based outside of London, shrunk the talent pool available to them.
