Supporting Vastint’s growth with a temp-to-perm marketing solution

Vastint UK is part of the Vastint Group, an international real estate organisation with over 35 years of experience. Vastint UK was launched in 2010, specialising in large-scale, mixed-use regeneration projects that create new homes, job opportunities, and vibrant spaces for communities to enjoy. 

Vastint had reached a point in their growth where the marketing team required additional support to successfully execute their strategy. To prove the role’s value and eventually make a permanent hire, they needed to bring on an excellent contractor. That's where our contract recruiters came in. 

With a marketing team of two, Vastint UK recognised the need for additional resources, particularly someone with destination marketing experience. The senior management team decided to hire a temporary Marketing Manager to assess the impact of increased capacity. With the potential for the role to become permanent, it was important that they introduced an excellent marketer into the team.

Vastint’s Head of Marketing had heard of 3Search from our industry-leading events. So, our recruiters were entrusted with their talent search. To ensure we made the best possible hire, specialist contract recruiter, Sarah Andrews, worked with the hiring team.  

Sarah proposed a day-rate contract to provide Vastint UK with flexibility, allowing them to evaluate the benefits of additional marketing support before committing to a permanent position.

We presented seven candidates who met the brief, all of whom were interviewed by the Head of Marketing. She was delighted with the calibre of candidates and the speed of CV delivery.  

They quickly decided on the appointment of an excellent Marketing Manager. Within six weeks, they have seamlessly integrated into the team, making significant contributions and initiating positive changes.
