Established in 2016, UP3 is a ServiceNow Elite partner specialising in the implementation and management of their platforms. The organisation enables businesses to unlock the full potential of ServiceNow, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service experiences. 

At this point in their growth, UP3 were ready to expand their marketing team to accommodate their growing marketing plans. 

Challenge: Supporting a busy Marketing Director

UP3 needed to bring in new hires due to company growth. To continue growing, their Marketing Director had to re-focus their efforts on strategic work and step away from the execution of marketing campaigns. To do this, they identified the need to bring in a marketer who specialised in content and brand. This hire would allow them to free up their own time to focus their efforts on larger strategic projects. 

In such a busy period, UP3 decided to outsource their marketing recruitment efforts to 3Search. Having had such a positive experience with a previous hire, they knew that our consultants could quickly deliver excellent candidates. 

Solution: Retained recruitment project

To allow our recruiters to dedicate the right time and resource to this project, we worked with UP3 on a retained basis.  

First, specialist tech recruiter, Laura McManus, got to know the team the Brand & Content Marketing Manager would be joining. She visited the team in their offices to ensure she could effectively sell the job and identify candidates suitable for the role.  

Once she understood the candidate profile UP3 were searching for, Laura started to understand the market sentiment. She maintained regular communication with the Marketing Director, sharing feedback from interested candidates and advising on salary bandings.

Result: A successful hire in 4 weeks

Having taken the pressure from UP3’s Marketing Director, Laura successfully completed the recruitment process in just four weeks. This crucial hire would be available to support the marketing team shortly after the initial search began.
