The story of Unaric

Unaric is a London-based SaaS company building the largest suite of Salesforce-native applications. By acquiring and scaling independent software vendors (ISVs), Unaric enhances the Salesforce ecosystem with tools that optimise revenue operations, service delivery, and system administration.  

Following the successful placement of their Head of Marketing, Charlie Bragg, Unaric sought to expand their team with a Growth Marketing Manager focused on their self-serve product portfolio. Laura McManus worked closely with them to onboard an excellent candidate. 

Challenge: Hiring a specialist to lead growth marketing

This new growth marketing role required a candidate with expertise in product-led growth (PLG) strategies to manage four self-serve products. They would be tasked with driving user acquisition and engagement. Given the specialised nature of the role, Unaric needed recruitment support to find the right talent.

Having previously worked with the business, we were entrusted with an exclusive search for this critical hire. This allowed Laura to dedicate the time and resource required for this niche role.

Through weekly catch-up calls, she provided market insights, candidate feedback, and adjusted the job specification after initial interviews to better align with Unaric's needs.  

Result: Securing a candidate with the perfect blend of experience

Our tailored approach led to the successful placement of a Growth Marketing Manager with experience in both Salesforce and self-serve products. The process was controlled and efficient, with a reserve candidate ready in case the preferred candidate declined.
