Our work with Turo
Originally from San Francisco, Turo is continuing to expand across the European market and needed our support in growing their marketing capabilities. We first started working with the business in 2022 when they were looking to engage a specialist digital marketing recruitment agency to support this growth.
So far, we have placed one role with the business – a Growth Marketing Manager – and continue to work exclusively with Turo on their marketing recruitment efforts.
Understanding Turo’s digital marketing recruitment needs
To start the process, performance marketing recruitment consultant, Jasmin Eastwood, worked closely with Turo’s Marketing Director, Christian Dason to completely understand their marketing recruitment needs. Having taken this time in the early stages, Jasmin was able to run the search for the Growth Marketing Manager based on the business and marketing team’s growth goals.
Having mapped the market and advertised the role across relevant channels, Jasmin delivered a shortlist of ten candidates with start-up and digital marketing experience.
Evaluating the shortlisted candidates
In order to save time and run a quick recruitment process, Jasmin took references for each candidate at the final stage. This gave Christian a deeper insight into their previous relationships, experience and working styles, allowing him to make a more informed decision at the offer stage.
The successful candidate had a strong background in the start-up world and excellent digital marketing knowledge, making them an excellent addition to Christian’s team at Turo.
While growing the Marketing team at Turo, I had worked with a number of recruitment agencies without much success. Jasmin's approach was different. She really took the time to understand our business and the specific requirements of each role. It wasn't long before we found the perfect Acquisition Marketing Manager to join our team, and we have now trusted Jasmin and the 3Search team with all our future roles.
