Our specialist bids recruitment consultants first started working with Phoenix Software in June 2024. With our support, the company has hired two new Bid Consultants.
Transforming a difficult process
Phoenix Software were looking for a Bid Consultant to replace talent who had left the business. They had engaged five different recruitment agencies on the search before our specialist recruiter, Hayley Jones, got in touch. Unfortunately, the quality of candidates they had received so far weren’t right for the role and they were yet to progress any to interview stage.
The Head of Bid Management at Phoenix was specifically looking for bids talent from the technology industry. Hayley leveraged her pre-existing network of tech bids talent in Leeds to bring together an excellent shortlist.
Finding outstanding candidates
The candidates that Hayley provided were outstanding. The Head of Bid Management said, “The candidates were not just well-qualified, but they also aligned perfectly with our company's culture and values.”
As a result, they took her entire shortlist through to the interview stage. Plus, despite the recruitment project being for only one role, the hiring manager offered two of her candidates the role of Bid Consultant.
