In spring 2024, 3Search partnered with Oliver Bernard Private, an exclusive travel, private membership and property brand within the luxuryhigh-net-worth industry. As a scaling business they were looking to hire their first permanent marketeer to maximise growth. 

It was incredibly important for the brand to find the right hire, so specialist recruiter, Victoria Stokes, gave them full access to the market. She worked closely with the Founders and Directors to identify and secure their ideal Head of Marketing.

The story of Oliver Bernard Private

Founded in 2019, Oliver Bernard Private was established to build a new, dynamic and energising approach to private membership, luxury property and travel. They are a small team, focussing on designing the lifestyle that’s meaningful to their members – whether abroad or at home 

In spring 2024, the business had reached a stage in their growth journey where they needed to engage marketing support to continue to scale. Brands within the high-net-worth space have a specific target audience, so it was crucial to find a marketeer with a track record of experience within the industry. Oliver Bernard’s leadership team chose to engage our specialist recruitment agency to gain access to the right talent pool.

With a niche target audience, it was crucial for Oliver Bernard Private to source a Head of Marketing with a true understanding of the nuances and challenges of marketing to a luxury audience. They would need to support on the execution of marketing campaigns and have an agile approach to their remit.

From there, she conducted a thorough review of the talent in the high-net-wortspace, market mapping available candidates within the criteria and salary bracket. This gave Oliver Bernard Private a full overview of available talent, resulting in two CV shortlists 

The recruitment process took place over the summer, with holidays on both sides elongating the process. Nevertheless, Victoria expertly navigated scheduling conflicts on both sidesmaintaining momentum and engagement from candidates and the hiring team.

Result: Business growth through marketing leadership

Ultimately, after a three-stage interview process, Oliver Bernard Private made an offer to the strongest candidate, with our team handling the negotiations. This was a key hire for the business. With expansion plans this Autumm in full swing, it was imperative to have someone in place to maximise growth and drive the business forward, so we are delighted that the hire was ultimately made
