heycar is a fast-growing website based in Berlin, London, Barcelona and Paris. The business helps drivers find their next car, whether they know exactly what car they want or need help finding the right one. heycar makes it easier for drivers to find a car they can rely on.
Our work with heycar
We first started working with heycar in 2021. The business got in touch with 3Search for support with moving their performance marketing channels from agency side to in-house. So far, we have placed two roles with the business...

Identifying performance marketers with a hard-to-find skill set
heycar got in touch with 3Search’s performance marketing specialist recruiter, Jasmin Eastwood, for support in moving their digital acquisition team in-house from an agency.
The business needed help with recruiting a Digital Acquisition Lead and Head of Digital Marketing. At the time of hiring, lots of businesses were looking to in-house their performance marketing teams and so these roles were especially tricky to recruit for as the technical skill sets were in high demand. As competition was strong for these roles, it was important for Jasmin to keep desired candidates engaged during every step of the recruitment process so that they didn’t get snapped up by other businesses.
Thanks to Jasmin’s expertise and experience in identifying, attracting and securing performance marketers, she ran a quick and smooth recruitment process, securing the best talent available on the market. This was achieved by salary benchmarking roles to give heycar a complete understanding of what candidates they could engage based on their budgets.
Jasmin then mapped the market for heycar, identifying a short list of suitable candidates from relevant industries. She kept them engaged through every step of the recruitment process and secured two excellent candidates for the business.
We worked with Jasmin to hire some key roles within our acquisition engine. The bar was high, and she met the challenge with enthusiasm, tenacity and patience - but crucially was unafraid to question and challenge us where she felt strongly for a good candidate.
