Our work with Birchstone Markets
We first started working with the business in 2023. Due to business success, they were looking to make their first senior marketing hire. As a result, they came to marketing recruitment agency, 3Search, for support in filling their Head of Marketing job role.
Supporting the business with their first senior marketer
Having grown as much as they could without marketing support, it was time for Birchstone Markets to recruit their first full-time senior marketing professional.
As the first hire into the marketing team, our specialist recruiters took a consultative approach to the hiring process. Andy Sellers and Jaemien Serrano have specialised in the financial services marketing industry for several years. They were best positioned to support the organisation in defining the role’s responsibilities and writing the job description.
It was agreed upon that the Head of Marketing would be able to develop marketing strategies and campaigns to continue the company’s growth. Jaemien leveraged her network to identify top candidates best suited to the role, delivering an efficient hiring process for all.
We came to 3Search as we needed to recruit a senior marketeer. As it was our first senior role; this was an incredibly important role for us to get right. Andy and Jaemien came to meet us to run through the brief and understand more about us and what we were looking for after being recommended to us through a mutual connection. They were consultative and ‘got it’ immediately. They were able to quickly introduce us to strong candidates and were able to identify what was important to us in our search.
