Our work with BCIS

We first started working with BCIS in 2024 to support their product recruitment efforts. The new Interim Chief Product Officer had worked with our recruiters in a previous role and so knew they could rely on us when building BCIS’ product team. So far, we have supported four hires...

  • x2 Product Managers
  • Data Architect (FTC)
  • Senior Product Manager

Building BCIS’ product team

When Interim CPO, Rich Linstead, joined BCIS, he enlisted Francesca Jackson to support his recruitment journey. Specialist product recruiter, Francesca, worked with Rich to understand the needs of the business, working together to decide on the optimal team structure to meet their goals. The search initially started with one Product Manager role, but expanded when they realised the extent of the workload.

Francesca approached recruitment from the top down, bringing a Senior Product Manager into the team before approaching the more junior hires. This allowed the more experienced hire to help create stability in the team before they made any more additions.

Finding excellent Product Managers for BCIS

To help build their new products, the CPO needed to hire talent with experience in the construction industryPlus, with the business based in Coventry, the requirements restricted the talent pool available.

Working on a retained basis allowed Francesca to move quickly through the recruitment process. She ultimately found three excellent Product Managers for the business.
