What an honour! We have proudly been awarded LinkedIn’s Most Socially Engaged Staffing Agency for the second year in a row. Last year we just scraped into the top 25 by coming in at 24 – one year on and we have climbed the ladder to an impressive 13th.

If we’re being honest, last year’s award came as a complete shock. Ashamed to say, we were completely oblivious to the competition until we got an email saying we’d be awarded a place in the ‘Top 25 Most Socially Engaged Agencies’. From then, we’ve been much more focused on getting the most out of our LinkedIn engagement over the past 12 months and have hoped to see that ranking soar for 2018. And with competition fiercer than ever with over 38,000 agencies in the running, we certainly didn’t let ourselves down.

The growth of digital platforms has been a game-changer in the world of recruitment, and our use of LinkedIn has played a pivotal role in our growth since it all began in 2014. Connecting with candidates within seconds, the professional platform allows us to instantly engage with a high-calibre of talent and start that all important conversation, placing the right people into their perfect role.

We spoke with one of the Director’s, Andy Sellers, on his thoughts regarding the award:

“Using tools such as LinkedIn effectively has played a huge part in our growth over the past few years as it’s given us the ability to market our brand to much more of a passive candidate market. With the support of the team at LinkedIn, we’ve been able to make real inroads and LinkedIn has been a fantastic part of our talent attraction strategy. We are absolutely delighted to be awarded a place in the top 25 most socially engaged recruiters for the 2nd year in a row.”

Why we use LinkedIn?

Career websites and job boards have been the typical go-to for candidates trying to find their first job, or for those seeking a change in career. However, the use of social networking platforms in recent years has turned this on its head. Platforms such as LinkedIn are seeing a lot more interaction and engagement, with a 73% increase in job recruitment usage.

We live by the motto “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know”, and LinkedIn makes this a simple click away. Building strong connections with people in the industry is the best resource for finding top candidates, creating a pool of talent at your doorstep (or screen). Combined, we have accumulated over 100,000 connections to date!
