Global Head of Acquisition


We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Digital Marketing expert to lead the digital acquisition strategy in the UK and internationally for a luxury British retailer. 

No day will be the same – some of the key responsibilities this role covers include: 

Digital Acquisition:

  • Create, define and deliver a global digital acquisition strategy that covers all available forms of digital advertising to deliver against agreed sales and targets.
  • Manage and develop the internal Performance Marketing team.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and new releases.

Paid Search:

  • Create, define and deliver a sophisticated Paid Search strategy which aligns with our commercial objectives both in the UK and internationally.
  • Deliver against agreed KPIs including, but not limited to, sales, revenue and new customers.
  • Manage global Paid Search budget within agreed limits, delivering maximum commercial benefit.
  • Constantly look for new and optimisation opportunities within advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure all relevant ad copy and activity is in line with brand values.
  • Work with Organic Search team to share learnings and optimise campaigns accordingly.

Digital Display:

  • Create, define and deliver a cohesive digital display advertising strategy.
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of all digital advertising formats, including paid social.
  • Ensure all digital advertising campaigns and creative are delivered on time and to the agreed specification.
  • Develop & manage relationships with media owners.
  • Ensure all digital advertising formats are in line with brand values.


  • Responsible for the commercial success of our affiliate marketing strategy.
  • Manage Affiliate Marketing agency relationship and ensure all key activity is launched to plan.


  • Use learnings from attribution data to influence positive change within campaigns and deliver a better return on media spend.


  • Report on the performance of all digital advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity across all Performance Marketing channels.
  • Educate and inform relevant internal stakeholders of the value of all digital activity as required.

Key requirements for the position

  • Extensive experience in digital marketing.
  • Expert level knowledge of Google Ads & Bing Ads.
  • Expert level knowledge of all paid social platforms.
  • Expert level knowledge of all relevant advertising tools including, but not limited to, Google Ads, DoubleClick & Google Analytics.
  • Experience running campaigns in the USA market.
  • Advanced understanding of attribution and impact digital advertising has on all channels.
  • Able to influence & communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable sharing results.
