Event Manager

Salary: £200 - 300 per day

Freelance Event Manager – London – Immediate start

An energetic event marketer with a positive “can-do” attitude and exceptional attention to detail, to execute events across Northern Europe, as well as major pan-European events. In this role you will work on event strategy, planning and budgeting, and flawless execution, including delegate recruitment and follow up. With your superior organisation, negotiation and communication skills, you will manage resources and budgets effectively and creatively. To be successful, you will need strategic vision, and an aptitude for garnering cross-functional buy-in, alignment and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Our client is an ambitious and high-energy marketing organisation focused on building demand for their SaaS applications across the European region. They are passionate about what they do and believe deeply their our potential to support IT and Finance leaders to be hugely successful in driving real business impact.

What we want you to do:
End-to-end management of in-person events, from large-scale industry tradeshows to more intimate executive dinners and breakfasts. This will include liaison with event venues, contract management, and management of all event logistics
Management of events across their internal management and financial tools
Webinars and virtual events: build, promote and deliver regular webinars in local language, as well as promoting our global webinar program
Provide leadership, intelligence, and guidance to teams to create differentiated customer experiences with a distinct point-of-view, impactful branding, and effective communication of their unique value proposition. Communications include internal communications pre-, during and post-event, in addition to social and digital event promotion and amplification
Manage the day-to-day relationship and activities with the team, external vendors, and event partners
Visualise and execute a seamless, thoughtful event experience for all attendees, by persona
Provide post-event analysis, budget recaps, internal and external feedback, and incorporate learnings into future event plans
Ensure pipeline and attendance goals are met for each event and program.

Background and Experience:
Available to start immediately
Proven experience in event marketing strategy, planning and execution, ideally with a range of event sizes and formats. Enterprise software marketing (ideally SaaS) would also be beneficial
Experience with hands-on program execution through both offline and digital channels
Applies creative ideas and a “can do” approach to ensure event success
Demonstrates the ability to build highly effective working relationships with sales and marketing across the organisation
Creativity and a drive to be innovative in taking their message to market in a manner that supports the brand story
Full project management experience, including financial management and reporting
