Bid Manager


This is a chance to join an international firm who are growing their London based bid team by bringing in an experienced bid manager, working on global bid opportunities.

Based out of their London, this is an opportunity to join a high flying bids team looking to secure new business for the firm in the coming years. As part of a 4 person bid team, they would look for you to take on responsibility for the full bid process, working alongside senior stakeholders and subject matter experts. With additional international offices in Dubai, there is also the chance to broaden your bidding skills across the globe.

The job will entail:

·   Managing the full bid life-cycle, from decision to pursuit to contract award

·   Work with the Bid Director to map out key resource requirements on the deal and liaise with operational divisions to engage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as required.

·   Project Manage the bid process from identification of initial opportunity through to submission of final tender and contract signature.

·   Participation in client dialogue sessions, supporting key client meetings (including pre-sales, support to client presentations etc).

·   Provide written bid input as required.

·   Plan and manage the production and publication of proposal or contract schedule submissions to the client.

·   Regularly report to the Board on the status of opportunities and the commercial forecast

·   Maintain and understand market trends, conditions, challenges to align the company services to the needs of current and prospective clients

An ideal candidate will have:

·   Previous Bid Experience

·   Bid Manager level experience preferential

·   Business development (Bids) / Marketing background

·   Proven track record of managing multiple projects with time-critical deadlines

·   Strong organisational and communication skills

·   Ability to work off your own initiative

·   Excellent written and numerical skills: Bid Writing expertise and strong attention to detail

·   The ability to write, develop and review proposal content

·   Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint)

·   Proficiency with InDesign/desktop publishing is preferred but not essential

·   Additional language skills would be highly preferential

·   Relevant qualification
