Technical Copywriter

Salary: £280-£350 per day, IR35 TBC

Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a skilled Technical Copywriter to enhance their API documentation and developer experience. The Technical Copywriter will:

• Review and refine existing API documentation to enhance clarity and usability.
• Develop comprehensive guides and use-case-driven recipes to support developer adoption.
• Propose and implement a modern, dynamic documentation stack beyond the current Slate-based system.
• Ensure technical accuracy and consistency, with proficiency in Swagger being essential.
• Provide ongoing support, including documentation updates, curated release notes, and developer communications.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience as a Technical Copywriter with a strong API developer background.
• Expertise in Swagger and API documentation best practices.
• Ability to analyse and improve existing documentation for clarity and usability.
• Experience with modern documentation platforms and the ability to recommend upgrades.
• Strong writing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
