Senior Performance Marketing Manager

£70,000-£88,000 + 20% Bonus

I am currently working with a true fintech disruptor brand who have had some seriously impressive growth and now their brand is recognised globally. Their mission is to help everyone, no matter what their circumstances, achieve greater financial wellbeing.

 

Due to growth, they are looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to lead the UK acquisition strategy, the role will line manage a team of 2 to begin with and report to the Head of Marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategy and Leadership

  • Define strategy, business goals, and project roadmap to ensure successful go-to-market execution.
  • Craft the vision, strategy, and execution plans to grow our user base.

Team Management

  • Lead and develop the performance marketing team, inspiring and coaching team members to achieve their goals.

Campaign Management

  • Oversee the UK acquisition strategy across paid media channels such as Meta, Google, and TikTok.
  • Identify key growth levers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and alignment.
  • Manage and maintain our content strategy with a deep understanding of SEO.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead the operational execution and project management of key initiatives.
  • Develop a clear experimentation roadmap with feedback loops.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Act as the go-to expert for all digital channels in the UK and collaborate with global markets.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Lead business reporting at weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews, sharing performance metrics and insights.
  • Plan, manage, and deploy the performance marketing budget cost-effectively.

 

Ideal Experience:

 

  • Extensive experience in performance marketing,
  • Expert knowledge of Google Marketing Platform (Ads, Analytics, SA360, Tag Manager), and their respective APIs.
  • Deep understanding of PPC automation, bidding, and concepts like lifetime value.
  • Strong experience in Meta, TikTok and SEO.
  • Experience working with product teams and data engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing measurement and attribution.
  • Proven track record of solving complex problems and creating clear strategies leveraging data and customer insights.
  • Analytical, data-sensitive, and goal-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team effectively.
