As a Senior Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth strategy by managing and leading high-value, complex bids across global markets. Collaborating closely with sales, product, legal, and technical teams, you will create compelling proposals that articulate our value proposition, align with client needs, and stand out in competitive fintech markets.
This role requires a strategic and creative thinker with excellent communication and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the fintech industry and its regulatory landscape.
Responsibilities of the Senior Bid Manager
- Bid Management:
- Lead the end-to-end bid process, from qualification and strategy development to submission and post-bid reviews.
- Develop and implement winning bid strategies tailored to client requirements and market dynamics.
- Coordinate input from cross-functional teams, including sales, product, legal, and marketing, to ensure cohesive and compliant proposals.
- Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Content Development and Presentation:
- Craft clear, persuasive, and customized bid responses that align with client needs and showcase our fintech solutions.
- Create executive summaries, technical proposals, pricing models, and supplementary materials with attention to detail and messaging.
- Develop high-impact visuals and presentations for client-facing pitch meetings.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the bid lifecycle.
- Facilitate bid/no-bid discussions, ensuring alignment with company strategy and resource capacity.
- Collaborate with clients to clarify requirements and address concerns, building trust and rapport.
- Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to refine bid strategies.
- Provide insights to leadership on market opportunities and proposal performance metrics.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously refine bid management processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and success rates.
- Maintain a centralized repository of proposal content, case studies, and best practices for future bids.
Qualifications and Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in bid/proposal management, business development, or a similar role, ideally within the fintech, SaaS, or financial services industry.
- Proven success in managing and winning high-value, complex bids, particularly in regulated markets.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Outstanding writing and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of the fintech ecosystem, including emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory considerations.
- Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to develop pricing strategies and evaluate risk.
- Proficiency in bid management tools, CRM platforms, and proposal software
