3Search have partnered with a global, creative advertising agency with a portfolio of blue-chip clients. As they continue to grow and expand they are looking for an experienced and strategic Marketing & PR Manager with a focus on New Business and Growth. This role is integral in driving the company’s growth through new business initiatives while managing all aspects of PR.. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in driving new business growth and leads as well as PR. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Strategic Growth Planning: Lead the execution of strategies to drive new business growth, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
- Intermediary Relationships: Manage the development of lead generation initiatives with intermediaries, nurturing and turning them into profitable client partnerships.
- Client Acquisition & Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Proposal & Pitch Management: Oversee the creation and delivery of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business opportunities.
- Lead Contact for New Business: Act as the key contact for new business inquiries, guiding prospects through the pitch process.
- Asset Management: Maintain the company’s deck and related materials, ensuring they are updated and ready for new opportunities.
Public Relations (PR) external:
- PR Campaign Leadership: Manage and execute the company’s PR strategy to enhance brand visibility and drive media engagement.
- Media & Stakeholder Relations: Build relationships with journalists, media outlets, and key influencers to promote the company’s narrative and industry thought leadership articles, opinion pieces and promoting new work.
- Content Creation: Manage the development and distribution of PR content, including press releases, thought leadership articles and opinion pieces.
- Social Media: Create and distribute all social content to boost agency visibility across the agency’s social media channels.
- Website management: Manage all the content for the company's website.
- PR Metrics & Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of PR efforts, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Awards Management: Lead the agency's efforts in submitting for industry awards
- Internal & Industry Events: Organize the agency’s monthly internal event series, The Gate of Inspiration, as well as other key DEI initiatives and industry events such as Cannes, SXSW, jury panels, and networking gatherings.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience in business development and PR, preferably within industries such as technology, media, or professional services.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and successfully managing PR campaigns.
- Experience covering senior-level roles or leading projects during fixed-term contracts (e.g., maternity cover) is preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of PR tools, and digital marketing platforms.
