I am currently working with a high-growth DTC Health & Wellness brand in London to help them hire for a new role on their team, a Head of SEO. After a $30million Series A round, they are on a mission to build one of the most impactful teams in the healthcare space 🚀
Initially you will have one direct report and 3-4 indirect reports but there will be scope to build out your own team in the near future. This is a high-performance team and culture so you need to be comfortable working at pace and being hands on as well as strategic.
The Role:
- Own and drive all aspects of SEO, including On-Page, Off-Page, Content, and Technical SEO.
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to deliver impactful SEO results.
- Re-define and execute the SEO strategy across multiple markets.
- Own and manage their content calendar aligned with key search terms and ensuring high-quality, medically accurate, and engaging material.
- Ownership of a healthy SEO budget.
- Conduct competitor analysis and keyword research to prioritise high-impact opportunities.
- Analyse, report, and refine SEO performance, communicating findings to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, legal, creative, and growth, to build a robust SEO engine and processes.
- Work closely with their PR agency and Brand/Creative teams to build stories and content to maximise brand visibility and ranks.
About You:
- At least 5+ years experience working in SEO
- Direct to consumer (DTC) experience is essential, ideally in the Health Tech space
- Strong knowledge of Content & Technical SEO
- Ideally have Programmatic experience
- Someone with a keen interest in using AI Tools
- Ambitious, driven and career motivated
- Creative eye and understand what good UX/Content looks like
