About the Company

This established healthcare technology business has a long-standing presence in the UK and Australia. Following a period of transition, they are looking for a strong strategic leader to unify product teams, modernise ways of working, and drive Product excellence.

Their product suite includes radiology, pathology, oncology, and compliance management solutions, serving major healthcare providers, including the NHS and private medical institutions. With a new executive leadership team, the company is on an exciting transformation journey towards cloud-based solutions and AI-powered healthcare insights.

As the Head of Product, you will:

• Define and execute product strategy, leading product innovation across a complex portfolio and unifying the product offering for customers.
• Modernise product practices by implementing best-in-class methodologies and customer-led development, creating a world-class product function.
• Led and scaled teams by managing and mentoring a large product team, upskilling, and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive commercial and customer impact by engaging directly with NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers, assessing their needs, and showcasing how products can exceed expectations to improve patient care.
• Collaborate with leadership, reporting to the Global Director of Product and Technology, and working alongside the MD and engineering lead to align product vision with business goals.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven Product leader with experience as a Head of Product, VP of Product, or Director of product in healthcare, medical software, or clinical technology. NHS frameworks, clinical systems, or large multi-year healthcare software projects are highly desirable.
• A visionary Product thinker who has deep expertise in modern Product ways of working, has thrived in an exceptional product environment and is a thought leader in Product strategy, team building, and execution.
• Commercial and customer-focused with strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• An inspirational team builder with experience leading cross-functional Product teams. Ideally, you have managed five to eight or more Product Managers.
• Strong technical acumen with familiarity with cloud platforms, AI, and modern SaaS healthcare technologies. You stay ahead of industry trends and innovations.
• Confident in front of customers, comfortable presenting, running user interviews, and uncovering real customer needs. More than just delivering what’s expected, you’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible to improve patient care and clinician experience.
