Director of Product

Our client is a leading global technology company dedicated to transforming digital communications and financial transactions. As they scale their European fintech division, they are seeking an exceptional Director of Product to lead their payments innovation strategy. The Director of Product will:

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a high-impact mobile payments product.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data, to enhance payment experiences.
• Manage, coach, mentor and upskill 5 PMs, who are a mix for Senior and mid level Product Managers who are looking for a true leader. 
• Drive market research to identify digital payment trends and improve product features.
• Define and optimise key performance metrics such as transaction success rates and user satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards in multiple global markets.

Essential Skills:

• 7+ years' experience in product leadership, particularly within payments, e-wallets, or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of transaction processes, payment gateways, and security protocols.
• Proven success in scaling customer-facing mobile payment products.
• Expertise in data-driven decision-making to enhance product performance.
• Experience managing global teams and launching products across multiple markets.
• Knowledge of launching and localising Products in new Countries is highly advantageous.
