Design Lead (FTC)

WEBSITE REDESIGN - GLOBAL CORPORATE BANKING
  

• Potential as either an FTC or as a day rate
• Budget circa £80-100k p/a pro rated for 4-6 months initially
• Must be available to start within 2-4 weeks maximum

  
This global financial institution is undergoing a major digital transformation within its Corporate & Institutional Banking division. With these two websites being totally overhauled to deliver one newly designed and reimagined website, they need some design leadership to join the team on a contract basis (4-6 months with potential to extend).

• A design lead to own and evolve the Design System, ensuring accessibility, brand alignment, and usability
• Someone to enhance UX/UI across digital platforms, improving customer journeys and engagement
• An experienced digital native with a track record of delivering compelling design solutions in another B2B & highly regulated industry
• Someone to guide the redesign and consolidation of key websites, ensuring a seamless experience
• A design leader who can mentor teams and elevate design thinking, working cross-functionally with product, tech, and marketing teams
• Someone who can advise on best practice, solving complex UX challenges and driving high-impact design decisions

• Designing for complex digital products, ideally within a regulated B2B environment
• Leading on design best practice, liaising with cross-functional teams, guiding best practices, and fostering a culture of design excellence
• Simplifying complex web experiences, optimising user journeys, and implementing scalable design solutions
• Communicating with senior stakeholders, aligning C-level execs, product managers, and developers around a shared design vision
• Designing for desktop, mobile, and multi-platform experiences, with a deep focus on accessibility and usability
