Bid/Pursuit Manager Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bid/Pursuit Manager to join an established team. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of high-value bids and pursuits, ensuring consistent delivery of compelling, high-quality submissions that win business. Working closely with the leadership team, business development, and marketing teams, you will play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities across a range of property sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bid Management: Lead the preparation and submission of bids, ensuring they are compelling, compliant, and tailored to client needs.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop winning strategies for each pursuit, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of bespoke content, coordinating with subject matter experts to develop clear, concise, and persuasive bid documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine and improve the bid management process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Client Engagement: Support pre-bid engagement activities to understand client needs and expectations, ensuring our proposals are client-centric.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with each pursuit, ensuring compliance with company policies and bid guidelines.
  • Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market opportunities to inform bid strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in bid or pursuit management, preferably within the property or professional services sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the real estate and property consultancy landscape.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple, complex bids simultaneously within tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate value propositions clearly.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with internal teams and senior leadership.
