About the Bid Manager Role As a Bid Manager, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, driving high-quality, compelling responses to public and private sector RFPs and tenders. You’ll work closely with technical, sales, and commercial teams to coordinate, write, and manage the delivery of winning proposals that align with client needs and the company's service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities of the Bid Manager - Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle from qualification to submission.
- Coordinate contributions from internal stakeholders across technical, sales, and legal teams.
- Develop bid plans and timelines to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality submissions.
- Write and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact.
- Manage bid reviews, approvals, and post-submission follow-ups.
- Support the continuous improvement of bid processes, tools, and knowledge libraries.
About You - Proven experience managing complex bids, ideally within IT services, cloud infrastructure, or telecoms.
- Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
- Strong written communication and persuasive writing ability.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement (e.g. G-Cloud, Digital Marketplace) is a strong advantage.
