Our client, a leading organisation in the Transportation and Logistics sector, is expanding its team due to significant business growth. They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bid Manager to play a crucial role in driving this growth forward. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where your contributions directly impact business success.

The Bid Manager will take ownership of the end-to-end bid management process, from identifying opportunities to submitting high-quality proposals. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure proposals are aligned with business strategy and client requirements, ensuring all submissions are compelling and fully compliant.

The Bid Manager will:

  • Manage the entire bid process, from responding to RFIs, EOIs, PQQs, and ITTs to final submission.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to align proposals with the win strategy.
  • Write and produce high-quality bid submissions, incorporating input from subject matter experts.
  • Maintain and update the bid content library, ensuring all material is current and relevant.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the bid management process.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-million-pound bids.
  • Strong project management skills; APM/APMP certification is preferred.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight deadlines.
