Job Description:

Are you an experienced Bid Manager looking for a new challenge in the legal sector? We’re seeking a talented individual to lead on bidding processes and drive business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bid Management: Take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, from identifying opportunities to coordinating proposal development, ensuring timely submission, and tracking outcomes.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop winning bid strategies aligned with the firm's goals and objectives.
  • Content Development: Produce high-quality, tailored content for bids, proposals, and presentations, showcasing the firm's capabilities, experience, and value proposition.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing insights to inform bid strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to gather intelligence, leverage networks, and enhance bid success.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine bid management processes and tools to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., APMP) preferred.
  • Proven experience in bid management within the legal industry or professional services sector, with a track record of successfully securing new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple bids concurrently.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities, able to identify key insights and develop innovative bid strategies to gain a competitive edge.
