We are working with a prestigious central London destination undergoing continued growth and development. As part of this journey, they are expanding their marketing team to deliver an exceptional calendar of high-profile events and creative campaigns that engage residents, attract visitors, and elevate the area’s brand appeal. The Marketing & Events Manager will play a central role in executing a forward-thinking destination marketing strategy, overseeing large-scale public events, and driving brand visibility through both digital and physical campaigns. The role requires confident project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a flair for creative storytelling. With the support of an experienced team and agency partners, this is a chance to bring bold, place-shaping ideas to life in a fast-paced environment.
  
The Marketing & Events Manager will:
  • Lead on delivery of major consumer events such as summer festivals, themed campaigns, and Christmas activations
  • Oversee an always-on content strategy via agency partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards
  • Manage all event logistics from licensing to safety planning, working closely with local authorities and stakeholders
  • Act as a brand guardian for all communications, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging
  • Own and report on campaign and event budgets, ROI and KPIs
  
Essential Skills:
The Marketing & Events Manager will:
  • Bring at least 5 years’ marketing and events experience, including outdoor events for 5,000+ attendees
  • Demonstrate confident project and stakeholder management in urban environments
  • Possess expert knowledge of licensing, health & safety, and event logistics in city settings
  • Be a confident communicator with excellent copywriting and proofreading ability
  • Be highly organised, detail-focused and experienced in managing budgets and supplier relationships
