Hi, my name is Laura McManus and I'm an Associate at 3Search. My focus is on supporting B2B tech companies with their digital marketing recruitment needs. Working with start-ups, SMEs and global brands in the technology, data, AI and SaaS sectors to build marketing teams that will drive growth.
I've worked in recruitment since 2014, where I have built a strong network of marketers who trust me with their career journeys. I love building long- lasting relationships. There’s a real, unique satisfaction in helping candidates find their dream jobs and clients finding amazing talent that can transform their businesses. With a background in marketing, I'm very passionate about the sector and find its evolution incredibly interesting. With the constant introduction of new technology, such as artificial intelligence, there’s always something new to learn!
If you’re hiring for marketing talent, my best piece of advice would be to ensure a smooth interview process, with effective communication. Be mindful of your timings and make sure you are feeding back quickly. The market moves at speed and candidates get snapped up. If you like someone, don't wait around.
Meanwhile, if you’re a candidate searching for your next opportunity, it is so important to ensure your CV stands out against your competition. Add in your key achievements for your recent roles and include figures and performance metrics. This can really give you an edge.

Charlie and his team have done an excellent job for us recently. We were restructuring the Marketing team earlier in the year and had several different positions to fill. George is one of the best headhunters in the web3 space and I can't recommend working with him enough. George goes above and beyond to find good placement for job seekers while simultaneously being mindful of the nitty gritty details like salary requirements, time frames, and more that come up on a job search. George doesn't work just 9-5 but is always available to communicate, get meetings scheduled, provide interview debriefs, and foster any connections made day or night. If I was searching for a career change, George is the first person I would connect with, and if I was looking to fill a role, he would be the first person I would ask to fill that position.
Giulia is an amazing recruiter with a true professional and personalized approach. The search for the next 'ideal' role or candidate can be frustrating, especially in marketing where the skills and requirements are forever changing.
