Hi, my name is Abigail Wager and I’m a Senior Manager here at 3Search. I specialise in recruiting for marketing, digital, communications and content roles for not for profit and membership organisations.
I've worked in public and third sector recruitment since 2017, starting my career specialising in both contract and permanent roles at an SME, exiting the company at Director level before moving to 3Search. I was drawn to 3Search because of the people-first and customer-centric approach. It's the element I've always loved the most about recruitment – supporting candidates and employers in finding talent solutions.

I truly care about the industries that I specialise in and am really passionate about doing good in every capacity. I mentor students at the University of West London and the University of East London and in my early career, I worked in fundraising myself. I have also worked for 2 years on helplines in a Welsh call centre for Save the Children and The Royal British Legion to name a few, providing grants, benefit checks and general customer service support to their users. This gives me a unique insight into this truly rewarding role and allows me to better support organisations in their talent searches.
There is one mistake that I see many candidates making in their job search and that’s not preparing for their interviews.
If you’re working with a recruiter who offers interview preparation, I would highly recommend taking them up on it. It's a real benefit to have. Your recruitment consultant would have spoken directly to the hiring manager and understand exactly what they’re looking for. Ultimately, this could be the difference between getting the job and not.

Charlie and his team have done an excellent job for us recently. We were restructuring the Marketing team earlier in the year and had several different positions to fill. George is one of the best headhunters in the web3 space and I can't recommend working with him enough. George goes above and beyond to find good placement for job seekers while simultaneously being mindful of the nitty gritty details like salary requirements, time frames, and more that come up on a job search. George doesn't work just 9-5 but is always available to communicate, get meetings scheduled, provide interview debriefs, and foster any connections made day or night. If I was searching for a career change, George is the first person I would connect with, and if I was looking to fill a role, he would be the first person I would ask to fill that position.
Giulia is an amazing recruiter with a true professional and personalized approach. The search for the next 'ideal' role or candidate can be frustrating, especially in marketing where the skills and requirements are forever changing.
