Key trends in social media and content recruitment 

Our 2024 Annual Pay & Hiring Report has highlighted some key trends in the recruitment industry. A staggering 67% of individuals told us they would be searching for a new job this year.  

However, that doesn’t mean that recruitment will be simple. 64% of hiring managers have told us they will be hiring in 2024, with 25% of them intending to hire for social media and content talent.

Almost half of our salary survey respondents told us that they sought career moves in 2023 for a better salary. Plus, 16% placed salary as the most important factor in a job search. Offering competitive salaries isn't just advisable; it's essential for retaining top talent and attracting new hires.

The average Social Media Manager salary in London is £40,000 - £60,000.
